This error is being returned by Constant Contact and can happen when updating a contact with an email address that is already present on another contact.

For example, if you have the following:

Contact 123 john.smith@email.com

Contact 987 mary.jones@email.com

If updating Contact 123 with mary.jones@email.com you will receive the Conflict error.
