Answer:

To remove these exceptions follow these steps:

  1. Post all gifts, so that there are no gifts to be posted
  2. Temporarily turn format to standard CSV 
  3. Choose Settings>General> Uncheck the box "If no account numbers are specified add gift to exceptions." Save and close.
  4. Post Gifts
