Description: This solution describes how to setup an alternative database connection within ImportOmatic. Please direct your IT staff to IOM, General Settings, and to the Alternative Database Connection section. If they click Test Connection, they will see the connection refusal error from the server. This is a SQL permissions issue.

The values for the fields to populate to set up an Alternative Database Connection are as follows :
Database: The name of the RE7 database in the SQL instance
Server: The IP address of the server running the SQL instance. The IP address works better than the DNS entry in our experience.
Username: This is the SQL user, not the RE user, that is accessing the database.
Password: The SQL password for the above user.
