Description: This solution describes how to mark recipient records with an Action type to show that a Statement, General Email, Receipt, Report Card, Infraction Report or Schedule has been sent from MailOmatic for schools.

The value that you would like to populate for the action will need to exist the Action Type table.

How to add a value to the Action Type table: 
  1. Go to Financial Edge
  2. Select the module you are working in, Student Billing or Registrars Office
  3. Select Configuration
  4. Select Tables
  5. Select Action Type
  6. Select "New Table Entry" at the top of the screen
  7. Enter desired value and select OK

To apply the action types to the different Student Billing mailings in MailOmatic for Schools:
  1. Open MailOmatic for Schools application from within The Financial Edge.
  2. Select the "Settings" Button at the lower right hand side of the screen
  3. When the MailOmatic for Schools configuration window opens, select the "SB Settings" tab. Select the desired action type in the drop down for the following options:
        A. Add this action type to recipient record for general emails:
        B. Add this action type to recipient record for statements:
        C. Add this action type to recipient record for receipts:



To apply the action types to the different Registrar's Office mailings in MailOmatic for Schools:

  1. Open MailOmatic for Schools application from within The Financial Edge.
  2. Select the "Settings" Button at the lower right hand side of the screen
  3. When the MailOmatic for Schools configuration window opens, select the "RO Settings" tab. Select the desired action type in the drop down for the following options:
        A. Add this action type to recipient record for general emails:
        B. Add this action type to recipient record for Report Cards:
        C. Add this action type to recipient record for Infraction Reports:
        D. Add this action type to recipient record for Schedules:
