To terminate an import, press the ESC key on your keyboard. You will be presented with a dialog box that asks you to confirm that you wish to terminate the import. When you confirm that you wish to terminate the import you will receive the normal import completion dialog box. You will be given the option to view the error log. When you view the error log, the last entry will look like this:

Line 1: Import cancelled by user

Note: The line (data row) in this entry will NOT have imported. Also, remember that when you are looking at the line numbers in the Error.txt, you have to add 1 to the number listed when you are looking for that row in your original data file because the Error.txt does not take into account the header row. So, in the above example it would be Line 2 in your original data file (which is Line 1 of the data).

When you wish to resume your import, remove from your data file all of the rows that successfully imported previously, and then resume your import. Currently, there is no way to tell IOM to begin processing a file on a particular row in a data file.
