Answer:
When working in the Open API of ImportOmatic, if you close the profile by selecting the "X" at the top of the screen instead of selecting the "Save and Close" button in the Code Editor view, the updates that have been made to the Launch Code Editor view will not be saved.
Additionally, in order to save any updates or edits and prevent losing code, even if you clicked "Save and Close" in the Launch Code Editor view, you will also have to select the "Save" button on the profile itself to save both the code and the profile.
