MergeOmatic issue with gifts not merging

We thought we were having a similar problem but it turned out the records didn’t merge at all (customization in the database was preventing the merge). Have you confirmed that the merged record is actually gone?

Hello!
We have been using MOM for about a month now and recently noticed several records where gifts did not merge - even though they were recorded in the Conversion Note on the record.
Has anyone experienced this?
Is part of the issue if anyone else is in the database at the time of the merge?
We have merged almost 700 records and I'd rather not have to go back and check them all
We have ceased merging for now until we can figure out what is going on
Any advice much appreciated!
