When we have new records that come in to RE from a source other than LO we periodically try to synch them to LO so that they can start to receive e-communications etc. from us. What I am finding is that if one of these new records happens to have an e-mail address of an already existing LO constituent the synch is overwriting the existing LO record with the name and address of the new constituent. This happens when families or spouses use the same e-mail address.
I am told by Omatic support that e-mail address is the only matching field that the LO API allows if no LO_ID is included in the lookup. Has anyone out there experienced this and found a good way around this problem?
