Searching Exceptions

I'm not sure if anyone else has run into this problem, but I received a searching exceptions error when analyzing our constituents and unfortunately can't see the entire message. There was no way for the box to be resized to view it. Even at full screen.

I was able to open the record and see that somehow the constituent was created with no last name, so that was the error.

Thanks for pointing this out Jonathan. The message is wrapped because there is a carriage return character in there, but we'll see if we can add a tool-tip pop-up when your mouse goes over the message to display the full thing.

How'd you create a constituent without a last name??

Hi Jonathan,

You should have a tool tip where you can see the entire message. Can you try to hover over that row with your mouse?

Hi Emily,

I had to move testing over to my development server, so I could clean up the record in error in prod. When I hover over the row, nothing happens. No tool tip with the entire message.This error occurred during the Search, not the merge.

Jeff I have no idea how this record was created. None of my required fields are filled in.

Hi Jonathan,

I see - we have a tool tip for the Exception in the Merge view, but not in the Duplicate Results view (search). We can definitely add a tool tip to the Duplicate Results view!
