Running a query with an ASK operator from IOM API

I see from other posts that it is possible to write code in the IOM API to run an existing RE query and loop through the results.

Does anyone know if it is also possible to write code to run an existing query that contains an ASK operator and supply the criteria via the IOM API during an import?

Hi all.. New to importOmatic and currently assessing it's flexibility.. Has anyone done the above? I know its 2 years old but hoping someone has been able to do this...
