Is FindOmatic only free for a trial period?

We were asked to install FindOmatic while working on an ImportOmatic case.  We were told it was free, but they didn't say for a trial period.  Now we have a couple of people with the license expired message, but mine works.  I'm going to uninstall if this is a product that has to be purchased.

We thought it was also free, but we received this message today as well. Hopefully it is just a case of having to reinstall. I have not found an answer yet.
