Hoping someone can point out what i am doing wrong with preventing users being prompted to ignore/Update addresses that are similar (if not identical) to the one that is currently on their record.
For example, on an import i did this morning, a supporter had the following address (have changed it slightly for Data Protection reasons!):
(Address 1) 40 The Street
(Town) Fareham
(Postcode) PO15 ABC
and their Raisers Edge record had the following:
(Address 1) 40 The Street
(Town) Fareham
(Postcode) PO15 ABC
which to me is identical, but according to ImportOMatic is only a 60% match?!
I don't want a user to be prompted to do anything with addresses like this, as it is slowing down our imports unnecessarily?
In configuration i have set the following within the Addresses options:
Calculate Similarity Score, with options for "Show advanced processing form" and "Update addresses that meet or exceed the Similarity Score and have the same city, state, ZIP with new address data" ticked.
I have set the Similarity score to 75%
Does this look ok? What do i need to do to prevent it promoting to do anything with addresses like the example above?
Thanks
