We recently had to rename all of our Campaigns in RE. Ever since, two of our import files no longer automatically bring in the Campaign like the used to. I can't figure out where this was tied to the profile, but this is the only thing that has changed. We can't figure out if this is tied to the template batch, the IOM profile, or something else. Any input?
The campaign will import as blank if you are trying to import a value that doesn't exist. I would assume that somewhere in the import process an old Campaign ID is getting into the import file and IOM does not recognize it.

That's what I thought, too, Wayne... but I can't figure out where it would be finding that information. I have gone through the profile with a fine tooth comb and I can't see where the ID is used anywhere, which is so confusing.

That was it! The one place I didn't think to dig into. Thank you, Wayne!

I spoke to soon. After checking my defaults and switching to the new code, it is ignoring that in import and not using it at all... I have the right default set linked in my IOM profile. I pulls in all the defaults except the Campaign ID.

Hi Katie,
If you go to RE Tools--> User Options--> Records tab--> Campaign, is this set to ID or Description? If it's set to Description, try changing it to ID.
Please let me know if it's still not importing the campaign.
Thanks, Amanda Omatic Support

Hi Amanda - That didn't appear to change anything. It still isn't importing the Campaign, despite the default set.

Hi Katie,
Thank you again for sending over the files. The issue was that the Enhanced Package/Appeal Processing was being used with an Excel file. Once the file was updated with the new campaign the gifts imported successfully.
